R\u00edo Campobuches) that is signposted in blue from the hotel. When we leave the farm, we turn left downstream, following the path that runs along the edge of the river (1). The path crosses the river on a couple of occasions, and reveals excellent pools, where it is possible to bathe in spring and early summer, before the river dries up in summer. If the river has a lot of water, there is a small path, always on the right bank, which avoids crossing the river (2).<\/p>\n<p>For 20 minutes, it crosses large gall oaks (Quercus faginea subsp. broteroi) and cork oaks (Quercus suber). The path leaves a large closed gate on the right, which is not necessary to cross. The path, which runs along the right bank, is interrupted by a very rustic gate, which has to be opened and closed again, and which is under a tree. After crossing this gate, the route leaves the river and starts to ascend, turning right, through the cork oak grove, following a small stream (3). (If we continue along the river, we will reach a marshland, on the path that continues to Montejauqe. This means that we have not known how to take the right turn and take the path that climbs up the stream).<\/p>\n<p>Little by little the path gains some height, and we pass under a power line. Soon we can see large sandstone crags to our right, Las Pe\u00f1as de los Brezales (4), from where there are good panoramic views over Campobuche and Pico Jaral. The path continues between meadows and cork oaks, until it meets a larger path that runs along the slope following the contour lines (5). When you reach it, turn right towards the west. Soon the nature of the rocks in the terrain changes, and we start to see limestone and a more clayey soil. We start to find copses of holm oaks. We have to open a gate.<\/p>\n<p>The path then runs under the ruins of the cortijo de los brezales. We continue along the track to the west. In front of us, in the distance, we can see the farmhouse of Tambor del Llano, hidden among pines and cork oaks. The path begins to descend (6) towards the area of the campobuches, which is the name given to the meadow that crosses the river and where the ca\u00f1ada real del campobuches and the ca\u00f1ada de las 10 pilas cross. We have to find a small gate at the end of the farm we are crossing. It must always be left closed. If we find a large closed gate, we have to follow the farm gate to the left, until we find the accessible passage in the gate.
