Tambor del Llano is a 32-hectare estate located 4 km from Grazalema and 20 km from Ronda.. In the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, which was the first Biosphere Reserve declared in Spain (1977). A place of exceptional natural conditions in the Serranía de Ronda.
Facing south under the Pico del Jaral (964 m), Tambor del Llano is a splendid balcony overlooking the Sierras de Libar, the Sierra del Endrinal and the area of Descansadero, in the fertile plain of the river Campobuche or Guadares, a crossroads of various paths and tracks, which invite you to take long walks.
Tambor del Llano is made up of a dense cork oak forest It is built on large sandstone stones that give way to pastures and crops distributed among several irrigation channels and often occupying old terraces that once housed vineyards.
Here we find a varied representation of the Mediterranean flora. Trees such as wild olive trees, gall oaks, holm oaks, stone pines, quince trees, old pear trees and a rich shrubby flora, broom, rockroses, gorse, cistus, laburnum, lavender, buckthorn, hawthorn and thyme.
