PACO GIL

Paco G il is the author of these works and a local artist with deep ties to this place. His work is a tribute to the environment that surrounds us, where he has lived for more than 30 years.

Since he was a child, Paco has painted what he observes, finding beauty and inspiration in everything that surrounds him. He feels privileged to live in direct contact with nature, an experience that permeates all his work.

Born in San Fernando, in the bay of Cádiz, birds have been one of his great fascinations since childhood. He used to draw them even as a child, and today, at the age of 61, they continue to be a recurring motif in his work.

Throughout his career he has explored the representation of landscape through painting, including the use of natural materials such as cork, wood and clay. He incorporates into his works everything that the environment offers him and that forms part of his daily life. Terraces and the fauna that inhabits this place.
