  • Length
    1 km
  • Duration
    35 minutes

Path (marked in yellow), which takes us to the upper part of Tambor del Llano, where the ruins of an old farmhouse ("las casas de Jose Maria"), with old stables, house, and a couple of threshing floors, where the cereal was winnowed, offer spectacular panoramic views of the mountains surrounding the Tambor. It is a beautiful place to enjoy the sunrise and sunset, and to see the stars and the moon on clear nights. Return along the path that goes into the cork oak grove, in the area of the sheepfold, crossing the Bujeo stream. From the bench above the threshing floor, if you want to explore the cork oak grove further, you can continue along the red path, which leads to the Peñas del Tambor, and return along this other, slightly longer path.
