From El Tambor take the path that goes down to the river, the blue path (TBLL-int 2- Rio Campobuches) signposted in blue. When you leave the farm you turn left, crossing the river. The path runs downstream. You have to cross the river a couple of times more. When you cross the river for the fourth time, just on the other side, you will see a gate that you have to open and leave closed, which leads up to the ruins of the Cortijo del Labrado. There is also a small power line that crosses these pastures. After passing the ruins, continue ascending to reach an area from where you can see the ruins of the Cortijo Casas del Jose María, the threshing floor, which is part of the Tambor del Llano estate. The entrance to the Tambor del Llano estate is near the picnic tables on the inner path of the Altos del Tambor, through a wildlife crossing at the boundary between the estates. Once back at the Tambor estate you can go down to the hotel, by any of the interior routes inside the estate.
