The Tambor Swimming Pool
You may know El Tambor del Llano for its stunning views, its tranquillity, the friendliness of its staff, its walking and horse-riding trails, its commitment to regenerative agriculture and livestock farming, or its organic food. But in June, what you’ll surely remember most is its swimming pool.
With the beaches and swimming pools packed, this swimming pool – reserved exclusively for guests at El Tambor – is carved into the rock, mimicking a natural pool, and exudes pure tranquillity amidst a spectacularly wild landscape.
The design of the pool is tailored to the shape and colour of the natural rocks on the site. The silica sand finish has allowed the design to blend into the surroundings, including a variable depth reminiscent of natural ponds. Furthermore, it offers a jacuzzi-like effect thanks to its innovative aerotherapy system, which involves filtering air bubbles through the quartz sand that forms the pool.
It is an environmentally friendly saltwater swimming pool, built without reinforced concrete, combining natural products that are seamlessly integrated with state-of-the-art technology.
It’s so chilly!
